SECURITY SERVICE & SPECIAL SERVICES
Quality starts and ends with our Security Officers. Their professionalism, competence and commitment make the difference. Fisher Executive Protection (FEP) Security Officers serve and secure the people, homes and businesses of our communities. The vast experience and training that is provided to an FEP Officer is equal to no other security force of its size. FEP Officers have provided security protection for a variety of situations, such as the San Francisco Meat Packers strike; bodyguards; off-hour security for several movie theaters in the San Francisco and East Bay.
Security Officer Quality Standards:

- Handles all typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively
- Understands and successfully executes post orders, enforcement of client and FEP
- Policies, rules and regulations
- Attends continuous classroom training on the latest security officer procedures
Security Officer Basic Job Responsibilities:
- Patrol facility or man post as instructed
- Serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions
- Detect suspicious activities, watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post that may be a threat to the property, client or employees at the site
- Report on all incidents, accidents and medical emergencies
- Respond to emergencies, such as medical, bomb threats, alarms, such as fire and intrusion by following emergency response proceedings.
Security Officer Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least age 24 or older (CA minimum is age 18)
- Must have a high school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of verifiable employment history
- No criminal convictions as specified under FEP guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Negative result on pre-employment drug screen
- Successful completion of FEP Security Officer Basic Course exam
- Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard
- Neat and professional appearance at all times
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client sites

STRIKE SECURITY: We provide officers professionally dressed in business suits. Officers armed with instant and digital camera for on-site real-time recording of events, in addition to a video camera for crowd and strike behavior documentation. Our Strike Officers are trained in verbal judo to insure that no situation is allowed to escalate beyond talking. Strike security officers are specially trained officers who have a stern but sympathetic approach and conversation with strikers. |
